Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei has warned Europeans not to stand on the wrong side of the history.

“The EU/E3 once played a pivotal role in int’l diplomacy, helping to forge the 2015 JCPOA—a landmark achievement of European foreign policy that was torpedoed by this U.S. administration,” Baghaei wrote on X.

“Today, under pressure from the German Chancellor, some EU members risk being placed on the wrong side of history by appearing complicit in U.S./Israel acts of aggression & war crimes against the Iranian nation, one of the world’s oldest and the most enduring civilizational Nation-States.”

“The Union must oppose any move reminiscent of historical NAZI mindsets and instead uphold its commitment to international law and justice.”

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: Attack on Minab Girls’ School Was “Deliberate”

The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated that the US and Israeli attack on a girls’ school in Minab was deliberate. He said the strike was intentionally carried out to occupy Iran’s armed forces with desperate search-and-rescue efforts, allowing the attackers to more easily strike their intended military targets.
Nournews: Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei wrote in a post on X that innocent Iranian children—“little angels”—were brutally massacred in a deliberate attack on their school, solely to distract Iran’s armed forces with rescue operations. This, he said, enabled the aggressors to attack military objectives with greater ease and impunity.

He added that describing the attack on the girls’ school merely as a “war crime” fails to capture the sheer evil and depravity of such an atrocity.

Iran will never forget or forgive the massacre of ‘Minabi angels’

Baqaei said Iranians will neither forget nor forgive the massacre of schoolgirls in Minab at the hands of Israeli forces.

“In memory of the Minabi angels, I held a press briefing on Tuesday morning in one of the classes of the Shahid Malati School on Iran Street,” Baqaei said in a post on his social media account on Wednesday.

“This school was severely damaged due to the US and Israeli missile attack and has been taken out of the education system, but the spirit of vitality, hope, and enthusiasm was evident in the doors, walls, and corridors,” he wrote.

The spokesperson added, “We will repair the walls, floors, and ceilings of this school, and rebuild the Shajareh Tayebeh school from scratch, while forever remembering the 175 noble Minabi angels. Iranians will never forget or forgive these crimes.”

In Israel’s terrorist attack on the Shajareh Tayebeh primary school for girls in Minab on Saturday morning, 168 children were martyred and 95 were wounded.

Throughout the country, approximately 185 students and teachers have been martyred, and nearly 20 schools and educational facilities destroyed since the beginning of terrorist US-Israeli attacks against the country on Saturday.

Ayatollah Khamenei was martyred following an attack by the Israeli regime and the United States on Saturday morning, February 28, 2026.

The Cabinet has declared 40 days of public mourning and seven days of holidays following the martyrdom of the Leader of the Revolution.
