The conversation between Araghchi and Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi took place on Friday evening.
During the phone call, the two diplomats focused on recent regional developments, the security of maritime navigation, and commercial shipping transit in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, following the proportional and reciprocal responses by the Islamic Republic Armed Forces to aggressive American actions against the country.
The two ministers also emphasized the importance of maintaining maritime security and discussed regional solutions and cooperation to prevent the escalation of tensions and to establish peace, stability, and security in the region.
