Abdollah Movahed, one of the most accomplished Iranian wrestlers, has passed away.

Avash News: Movahed was the holder of six Olympic and world medals in freestyle wrestling. He was ranked 11th in the Hall of Fame of the World Wrestling Union for his championships in the 20th century.
Movahed lived in the United States and died on April 30 due to a heart attack.
After being offered a coaching position for the U.S. wrestling team, Movahed refused the proposal, saying that he did not want to coach an American team that might one day compete against Iran.
He also did not want to train a foreign wrestler who might face an Iranian opponent. In this sense, Movahed deeply loved Iran and was a true patriot.
