Iran’s Foreign Minister and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Meet

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, met with Pakistani senior officials on Saturday.

Avash News: Mohammad Eshaq Dar, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, was also present at the meeting, during which the two sides discussed and exchanged views on mutual relations and cooperation in different fields, as well as regional and international developments.
Pakistan’s prime minister, pointing to the determination and will of the two countries’ senior officials for the continuous enhancement of relations and mutual cooperation, as well as collaboration at multilateral and international organizations, said he is sure that this trend will continue strongly in line with the common interests of the two neighboring Muslim countries.
Iran’s foreign minister also said that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and President Masoud Pezeshkian are determined to improve full-scale ties with neighboring countries, especially Pakistan, emphasizing the special position of Pakistan in Iran’s foreign policy and the country’s will to further develop relations with Pakistan.
Araghchi hailed the attempts made by senior Pakistani officials to end the Israel- and US-imposed war against Iran and establish a truce, and elaborated on Iran’s fundamental position regarding the latest developments related to the truce and the complete end of the imposed war against Iran.
Iran’s foreign minister also pointed to the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes in occupied Palestine and the regime’s repeated violations of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon.
Araghchi praised the stance of Pakistan’s government and people in supporting and showing unity with the innocent people of Palestine and thanked Pakistan for its special efforts to implement Lebanon’s truce agreement.
