Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) will travel to Oman on Tuesday, heading a delegation.

Avash News: Ali Larijani, the SNSC Secretary, is scheduled to visit Muscat, Oman tomorrow.

He is set to meet with senior officials of the Sultanate of Oman to discuss the latest regional and international developments, as well as mutual cooperation at various levels.

Larijani’s visit to Oman follows the Muscat-mediated negotiations between Iran and the U.S. held last Friday.

The negotiations were indirect and facilitated by Oman. After the talks, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, described them as “positive,” but emphasized that Iran follows the negotiations with “open eyes.”

The Iranian President also described the negotiations yesterday as “a step forward.”

Iran has stated that its missile programs are off the table, and that the right to enrich uranium within its territory must be preserved, as it is intended for peaceful purposes.
