While Iran and the United States were in the middle of negotiations and a technical meeting was going to be held on Monday in Vienna, Israel and the U.S. unprovokedly attacked Iran in the early hours of Saturday.

Avash News: It is the second time since the June attacks that Israel and the U.S. have launched a war of choice on Iran amid negotiations described by both parties as “positive.”

Attack on the residential building of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution

They attacked the residential building of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Pasteur Street with missiles, which, according to Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, was unsuccessful in achieving its goal of murdering the Leader. In an interview with NBC, Araghchi said that all officials, except for one or two military commanders, are “safe” and “sound.”

A criminal war

But the brutal joint strikes on Iran by Israel and the U.S. led to the death of more than 85 Iranian elementary school students in Minab, in Hormuzgan province, which amounts to a criminal war.
Araghchi said that the attack on the Iranian girls’ school “will not go unanswered.”

Attack on residential buildings in Fars Province

Israel and the U.S. also attacked four residential buildings in Lamard, in Fars province, which led to the martyrdom of 15 citizens.
Iran launched retaliatory attacks on American bases in the region, including targets in Jordan and the UAE.
Iran had previously warned that in case the U.S. launched attacks on the country, all U.S. bases in the region would be legitimate targets.
Meanwhile, Abbas Araghchi called on the United Nations to hold an emergency meeting. The meeting has been scheduled for midnight Iran’s local time.

Condemnation of attacks

Many countries have condemned the Israel-U.S. joint brutal and unprovoked attacks on Iran, namely Russia, Pakistan, Norway, the European Union, Yemen, Brazil, as well as a UN human rights official, Hezbollah, and Japan.

Iran has never initiated a war against any country for more than 200 years but has defended itself when attacked by aggressors. Iran has always publicly announced that the country is not pursuing a nuclear bomb, as it is both inhuman and against Islamic teachings. Iran also showed maximum flexibility during the third round of negotiations.

Undermining negotiations

Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr Albusaidi, who mediated three rounds of Iran-U.S. negotiations, wrote in a post on his X account after the Israel-U.S. joint attacks on Iran that “I am dismayed, Active and serious negotiations have yet again been undermined. Neither interests of the United States nor the cause of global peace are well served by this.” Albusaidi had met with US Vice President JD Vance on Friday, just hours before the strikes, and had expressed optimism, saying “peace is within our reach.”

Israel and the U.S. an existential threat to peace

Iran’s former foreign minister and the CEO of PAIAB think tank in Tehran, Javad Zarif, also reacted to the Israel and U.S. joint war against Iran, saying that the war once again showed that “peace is an existential threat to Israel and U.S.”

Zarif said that this is the third time negotiated solutions have been torpedoed to serve Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Make my words: Iran has outlived each and every aggressor over millennia. It won’t be different this time,” he said.

Son and daughter- in -law of the Leader martyred

Hamshahri Newspaper has announced that the son-in-law and daughter-in-law of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution were martyred in the Israel-U.S. attacks.
