Addressing the international conference on “Investment Opportunities in Railways and Roads,” Iran’s president said that no country benefits from war.

Avash News: Masoud Pezeshkian added that no country achieves anything through violence, conflict, and bloodshed. He praised efforts by regional leaders to ensure the security of the region.
Pezeshkian said that “we are determined to operationalize vital arteries rapidly, strongly, and with high quality. There is hardly a day when we do not think about how to do this at high speed. As of today, we are pursuing the provision of financing.”

He said that “we see neighboring countries as our relatives and fellow believers. We have a history of relations with neighboring countries spanning hundreds to thousands of years. The routes that connect us are routes of development, peace, science, knowledge, and capabilities. If we can open these routes, we can ensure each other’s security and improve our economy at the same time.”

Pezeshkian said that no country has benefited from war, conflict, and bloodshed, adding that “we are all making efforts to resolve problems peacefully, and we can do this.”
The Iranian president said that “we do not need a custodian to do this for us, and we can resolve our problems by ourselves.”

Pezeshkian described Iran–Russia ties as very deep and expansive. He said that with new approvals, they are removing obstacles to developing connecting roads.
The Iranian top official said that a win-win approach is being pursued and that all parties—including investors, cooperating countries, and road users—must be winners.
Pezeshkian said that “we feel brotherhood with all neighboring countries, which is more than a mere diplomatic tie. We enjoy a higher level of intimacy, and we will build a region of equality, peace, brotherhood, and friendship.”
