“Attacks on hospitals strike at life itself. Attacks on schools target a nation’s future. Targeting patients and children blatantly violates humanitarian principles. The world must condemn it. I stand with my grieving nation. Iran will not remain silent or yield to these crimes,” the Iranian president said in a post on his X account.
Israeli strikes have hit schools and hospitals in several cities across Iran since the regime and the US launched their ongoing war of aggression against the country on Saturday.
In only one strike, around 170 schoolgirls were killed in the southern city of Minab on the first day of the aggression.
