Avash News: The President described the existence of double-standard behavior in the international system as being in contrast with human principles and called for the continuation of unity and national cohesion.
Pezeshkian visited different sections of Tehran’s Emergency Organization and was informed about the processes of providing services, operational readiness, and the aid-working capabilities of the complex.
He reviewed the performance of the forces in providing aid to the wounded under war conditions and hailed their round-the-clock efforts after receiving reports from the head of Tehran’s Emergency Organization.
Pointing to the role of Tehran Emergency in the 40-day war imposed by Israel and the US on Iran, Pezeshkian regarded the organization as a vital pillar in managing national crises and said that the good performance of the aid workers has ensured that no disruption was felt in any part of the service process.
The President said that the effective presence of relief workers is a valuable asset for the country and added that the continuation of the spirit of service to the people and selflessness in society will enhance national strength, and that no power will be able to force Iranians to surrender.
The President also said that Iran always emphasizes constructive interaction and dialogue with different countries.
“Iran is not seeking war or instability, but no effort to impose will or domination on the country will be successful,” he said.
Pezeshkian criticized the double standards of some powers in the international arena and said that targeting civilians, elites, children, and vital centers, including hospitals and schools, has no justification under international law.
The President said that the unique unity and cohesion of the people defeated enemies during the war.
“All those whose hearts beat for the country must understand their historical responsibility and move along the path of safeguarding national interests and boosting unity,” the President said.
