Iran’s former foreign minister and the CEO of the Paiab Institute responded to the latest remarks by the US president regarding attacks on Iranian infrastructure.

Javad Zarif wrote in a post on his X account:

Nothing screams “wining” quite like vulgarity.

Campaign on America First, then, blackmailed by a wanted criminal, pivot to Israel First.
Targeting civilian infrastructures isn’t a strength.
It’s a desperate WAR CRIME, plunging the world into the Stone Age.
Oh, and Happy Easter.

Donald Trump had threatened Iranian authorities in a post on his Truth Social account, using vulgar language, to “open” the Strait of Hormuz.

Israel and the United States launched an unprovoked war against Iran on February 28 by attacking the residential and office buildings of the Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. This was followed by further attacks on both civilian and military targets, continuing for over a month.

Iran imposed restrictions on transit through the Strait of Hormuz as leverage in the war. Since then, Trump’s objective has shifted from earlier goals, such as “assisting the people of Iran in changing their government,” to opening the Strait of Hormuz. Since the beginning of the war, thousands of civilians have been killed, and many residential areas have been destroyed in Israeli-US airstrikes in Iran.
