In his speech at a joint session of the members of Pakistan’s National Assembly and Senate in Islamabad on Monday, Zardari extended condolences on the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and outlined Islamabad’s view on the ongoing developments in the region, especially the attacks on Iran.
Expressing concern over developments in Pakistan’s neighborhood, he said that Islamabad has always sought to prevent unilateral attacks on any country.
He emphasized the need to exercise maximum restraint, adhere to international law, and respect the territorial integrity of all countries.
