Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that any return to war with Iran would bring “many more surprises,” saying the Iranian Armed Forces had gained new experience and capabilities during the latest US-Israel aggression.

Writing on X early Wednesday, Araghchi said that months after the start of the war against Iran, the US Congress acknowledged that dozens of aircraft worth billions of dollars were destroyed.

“Our powerful Armed Forces are confirmed as 1st to strike down a touted F-35,” the foreign minister said.

“With lessons learned and knowledge we gained, return to war will feature many more surprises,” he added.

US President Donald Trump has escalated his war rhetoric against Iran in recent days, threatening renewed strikes against the country if indirect diplomatic discussions do not end in an agreement.

The unprovoked US-Israeli war on Iran began on February 28 with air raids that assassinated senior Iranian officials and commanders and targeted civilian infrastructure, residential areas, educational institutes, and historical and cultural sites.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces unleashed 100 waves of successful strikes against sensitive and strategic American and Israeli targets throughout the region.
