Masoud Pezeshkian stated: "Today, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany passed a resolution against Iran. I do not understand how one is supposed to cooperate with this world in a way that they refrain from mischief and allow the people of this country to stand on their own feet and live independently."

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, speaking on Thursday, June 13, 2025 [22 Khordad 1404], during a meeting with intellectuals, elites, and cultural figures in Ilam Province, referred to the IAEA Board of Governors’ resolution against Iran and said: “Today, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany passed a resolution against Iran. I do not understand how one is supposed to cooperate with this world in a way that they refrain from mischief and allow the people of this country to stand on their own feet and live independently.”
Pezeshkian, once again honoring the memory of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear martyrs, added: “We will continue on our path, we will pursue uranium enrichment, and we will not retreat from our current course. We will build this country with our own youth. Even if our [nuclear facilities] are destroyed by bombs, our capabilities lie in our minds. Therefore, whatever they do, we will rebuild again.”
