Persian Gulf Cooperation Council warns of attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities

 Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states, in a meeting with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, warned of the consequences of any Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

According to the Persian edition of IRNA, Qatar’s official news agency (QNA) reported that ambassadors of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council countries expressed their concerns about the current situation in the region during a meeting with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

According to the report, the ambassadors of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council member states warned Grossi about the dangerous consequences of the Zionist regime targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities.

QNA further stated: They also affirmed that any targeting of Iran’s nuclear facilities poses a direct threat to nuclear radiation safety.

The aforementioned officials also emphasized that targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities constitutes a violation of international law.

They further highlighted the critical role of the International Atomic Energy Agency in preventing such attacks.

These warnings come after the Zionist regime carried out attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities in recent days.
