The drafters of such irresponsible statements, instead of insisting on blame-game arising from their outdated supremacist and colonial mentality, should correct their wrong and criminal policies towards Iran and the region, the statement reads.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers the claims in the joint statement of the members of the G7 and its partners regarding Iran to be “baseless, irresponsible, and pure blame-game,” and condemns it.
Making false accusations against those in charge of protecting Iran’s national security is a clear distortion of facts and a deceitful blame-game by the drafters of such statements who, through their illegal and destabilizing actions in different parts of the world, particularly in the West Asia region, have promoted lawlessness and increased insecurity, it noted.
Undoubtedly, the United States and other members of the G7 must be held accountable for their improper actions in endangering the stability and security of the region and the world, especially due to their complicity and partnership in the blatant violations of international law, including humanitarian law and human rights, by the Israeli regime in occupied Palestine, as well as for their support of notorious terrorists, the statement said.
In a situation where the Israeli regime, with the full support of the United States, Britain, Germany, France, and other countries behind this anti-Iran statement, is engaged in slaughter and genocide in occupied Palestine and continuous warmongering against regional countries, issuing such statements serves no purpose other than to divert public attention from the crime of the century and the complicity of the drafters of this statement in genocide.
