On the occasion of Hafez Day, celebrating the renowned Persian poet, and as part of the 2025 Iran–Turkey Cultural Year programs, the traditional ensemble of the Iran’s National Orchestra, affiliated with the Roudaki Foundation, will perform in Ankara, Turkey, on Tuesday, October 14, under the baton of Pouria Shiva-Fard and featuring vocalist Mojtaba Asgari.

Avash News: Organized in collaboration with the Roudaki Foundation and the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, the concert will feature compositions by prominent Iranian musicians.

All the poems performed in this event are from Hafez of Shiraz, the great Iranian poet of the 8th century AH. Hafez, also known as Lesan-ul Gheib (“The Tongue of the Unseen”), holds a revered place in Iranian culture. His popularity is so profound that nearly every Iranian household owns a copy of his Divan and consults it during special occasions such as Nowruz (the Persian New Year) and Yalda Night.

This cultural event in Ankara aims to introduce Iran’s rich artistic heritage, promote cultural diplomacy, and strengthen cultural and artistic ties between the two countries.
