Iran has rejected recent accusations by the head of Canada’s domestic security agency describing the claims as completely baseless and fabricated.

Zahra Ershadi, The Deputy Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations , has condemned Canada’s continued support for Israel as well as Ottawa’s complicity in the genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Ershadi said the ridiculous accusations by Canadian security officials aim to divert attention from Israel’s ongoing lawlessness and crimes in West Asia and Canada’s support for them.
She also criticized Canadian obstruction of routine consular services for Iranians and urged Ottawa to revise its irresponsible and unjustified approach toward Iran.

Earlier, Daniel Rogers, director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), has said that the agency had to reprioritize operations to counter actions by Iranian intelligence services and what he called their proxies, who allegedly targeted individuals they perceived as threats to the Islamic Republic.
