Araghchi met with Wang Yi, China’s Foreign Minister, and Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, and discussed matters of mutual interest as well as regional and international issues.
He also participated in a group conversation with the foreign ministers of Russia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan on the margins of the SCO summit.
Araghchi left for Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, along with President Masoud Pezeshkian on August 31, 2026 to attend the SCO summit.
The 26th summit of the SCO member states is held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, the rotating presidency of the organization for 2026.
