Exclusive| 4 Iranian Hajj pilgrims pass away in Saudi Arabia

The spokesperson for Iran’s Red Crescent Society has announced the deaths of four Iranian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

Avash News: Mojtaba Khaledi, in an exclusive interview with Avash News, said that so far 144,450 pilgrims have received general examinations, and another 16,314 pilgrims have been examined by specialists.
“Some 55,329 prescriptions have been issued for pilgrims, and 18,589 people have also received nursing services,” the official said.
He also stated that, unfortunately, four Iranian pilgrims lost their lives during Hajj.
The official added that the majority of patients sought treatment for heat-related problems, including internal and gastrointestinal issues.

Colds are also common among the pilgrims
Khaledi said that due to the hot weather and the increased likelihood of dehydration, pilgrims are advised to perform their rituals after 16:00 and to be cautious about their food.
“Food spoils very quickly in hot weather, and pilgrims are advised not to consume food that has been kept outside the refrigerator for more than one hour,” he said.
The official said that because pilgrims move between cold, air-conditioned hotel spaces and hot outdoor environments, colds are very common among them. Therefore, they are advised to avoid shaking hands or kissing others when greeting people after returning home.
