The statistics show that Iran ranks 14th among 170 countries in terms of average working hours. According to the figures, men in Iran work an average of 47.90 hours per week, while women work 35.51 hours.
Iran ranks below Bhutan, Lesotho, Sao Tome and Principe, Congo, Jordan, the UAE, Jordan, Liberia, Pakistan, Qatar, and Lebanon, and is followed by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
Within Iran, Alborz Province has been identified as the hardest-working province, followed by Ardabil, Hamedan, and Tehran.
The least hardworking province in Iran is South Khorasan, followed by Sistan and Baluchestan, Semnan, and Kerman.
