Avash News: Referring to the establishment of single-passenger capsule hotels in Tehran, Hamid Reza Rahmani, the manager of the Organization for Managing Transportation and Passenger Terminals of Tehran Municipality, said that these capsule hotels are intended to create a suitable space where passengers can rest while waiting for their buses to arrive.
“These hotels have been built by knowledge-based companies for in terminals in western and southern Tehran, which experience the highest passenger traffic,” Rahmani said, adding that the plan will be extended to other terminals across Tehran.
“Each capsule unit has an area of about 3 cubic meters and features a comfortable bed with single-use sheets, adjustable lighting, a louvered window to preserve privacy, electricity outlets, a USB charger, air conditioning, a folding laptop table, and space for luggage.”
“Travelers can book the hotels for however many hours they need to wait for their bus,” he said.
