Speaking on Tuesday at the 12th International Congress on Pulmonary Diseases, Intensive Care and Tuberculosis, Mohajerani emphasized that the Islamic Republic would defend the country whether through diplomacy or war.
The spokesperson, stressing that logic dictates choosing negotiations, said, “Through negotiations, we seek to continue our scientific interactions with the world, but under no circumstances will we compromise on our rights.”
Mohajerani said Iran’s adversaries were engaged in a broader civilizational conflict with the country, describing the confrontation as a scientific war.
She said adversaries sought to confront Iran through science because they recognized the country as a civilizational and historical superpower.
Mohajerani added that Iran’s opponents were using science to preserve global dominance rather than advance humanity. She said Iran would overcome the situation and remain proud.
