The Iranian Army says it has launched drone attacks on US bases in Bahrain and the UAE in response to the latest US aggression including its attack on a wedding in southern Iran.

The Army said in a statement that the strikes were carried out from early Wednesday.

It said that US radar systems and troop positions were targeted with attack drones at Al Dhafra and Al Minhad airbases in the UAE.

Al Dhafra is one of the main operational centers for the US military in the region, the Iranian Army said, adding that the base is used for air operations, reconnaissance, surveillance and logistical support.

The Army further said in its statement that radar installations and gathering points for US forces at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain were targeted in new heavy strikes using Arash attack drones.

“The enemy’s attacks on residential areas and targeting of a wedding ceremony are clear examples of war crimes and expose the sinister nature of ‘American human rights.’ The Army’s response to these crimes will certainly be broad and far-reaching,” the statement read.
