Avash: Addressing Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, Zarif said that Rubio was too ignorant and blinded by power to grasp how Iran had absorbed aggressors into its rich culture. “We outlasted them all and will outlast his declining empire,” Zarif wrote.
Zarif made the remarks after participating in a festival highlighting the lifestyle of Iran’s nomads and ethnic groups.
Zarif described the event as an opportunity to showcase the extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage of Iran’s nomadic communities, saying that it offered a glimpse into Iran’s civilization-state.
Rubio had described Iranians as a threat to life in his latest speech in Greece.
