During the meeting in New York on Thursday morning local time, Pezeshkian explained Iran’s views and engaged in a candid discussion with the editors-in-chief and senior media officials, responding to their various questions.
The meeting was held as part of the Iranian president’s bilateral meetings and side events on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly.
Pezeshkian arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport early Wednesday, where he was received by Iran’s ambassador and chargé d’affaires to the United Nations.
